Cambridge

Cambridge is a town in the Waikato region of the North Island of New Zealand. Situated 24 kilometres southeast of Hamilton, on the banks of the Waikato River. Cambridge is known as "The Town of Trees & Champions". With a population of 15,192 as of the 2006 census, it is the biggest municipality in the Waipa District and still growing rapidly.

 The town is now best known for its Thoroughbred horse studs and stables, which have produced many champion horses in the sports of racing and show jumping. Cambridge, New Zealand, is a majestic tree lined town with a population of approximately 16,000 people. The Town of Trees lives up to its name with the stunning range of exotic trees that add to the English-style town atmosphere. It attracts many overseas residents from England and South Africa.
